Phone is Busted!! White LED when plugged in?

My Bionic which has been working fine never dropped etc won't turn on today. I took the battery out and replaced it to no avail. when I plug it in to charge it I get a constant white LED. Why won't my phone turn on? I don't have insurance either. Thanks

Have you made any changes recently? Are you rooted? It sounds like your battery is just totally drained but I dont want to send you off with a "just charge it and you should be fine" without getting more details.

early last month I upgraded to ICS. It was rooted but I think I lost root but I wasn't able to get to the menu by pressing power, volume. I was abel to before.

before I start trying to think of off-the-wall things, are you sure your phone is charged?

The phone had half battery or less. This is the extended battery i am using I currently have it plugged in at work via usb to PC to charge.
