Phone calls, bluetooth, and volume adjustment?

Anyone use a jawbone bluetooth headset knows there is no volume adjustment on the headset. With the droid, I would just hit volume up or down. However, with the Nexus I have found you have to have the screen on to change the volume while on a call. So I have to hit the power button then volume. Totally annoying. Not so if you are listening to media. With media the volume button works properly.

Anyone else have this?

Yeah I have as Jawbone a well. That does suck, maybe the software assumes if you can press the volume button you can hit power first. I don't know why and tbh I haven't really needed it much so it may be more of an issue for me in the future. Sorry I couldn't help.
