PDA net sms client

ive been using the pdanet sms client for a little while now on my computer and i was wondering if there was a way to modify the settings on it because its really getting on my nerves with the doorbell ringtone & 160 text limit... not trying to sound ungreatful for the ppl that make it its just a little on the annoying side and i can understand if they didnt have time to put in the settings to change it

160 is the txt limit for txting period, doesn't matter what program u use. Question I have is can u use the sms client while using pdanet with Verizon. U know the who data and voice @ the same time.

i guess i should have been more specific im using the verizon droid therefore the 160 text limit doesnt apply to me as it will thread it together on verizon into one text message... and the talk and data thing is completely different from texting and using data... you can actually be on the phone and text or be loading something and text its the talking while loading something internet based is what it cant do
