Pasting in Dolphin Browser on Xoom

Does anyone know if it is possible to paste in a text box in the Dolphin browser after copying something from gmail I tried to paste it into Dolphin and the past/copy et al. buttons didn't come up.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Just tried to past into a text field in the Xoom's default browser and the edit bar pops up quickly but doesn't stay long enough for you to select paste.
