If there is an answer, someone has $10 in there paypal. I have tried the following...

1. Music eq settings
2. Stage freight in build.prob
3.DSPmanager - eq, sound compression, and sound field. (tried this yesterday)

Any other ideas?

Ok since 2.2 upgrade i have noticed an improvement in quality. I dont use the Setting/Sound/Audio Effects - and now the bass is much fuller than before. Still not CD quality.

I've also figured out that mp3s i put on there sound great, its the feeds from Pandora and Slacker that sound so crappy.

I hope they continue to work on this in further updates.

Yup...agreed. It's not just Pandora or slacker. K-love has an app that is the same kind of internet style feed. Sounds less than desired. Anything I have on the DX though, mp3's and such sound fine.

If someone is looking for stunning quality, their phone is the last place they should expect it.
