Use Android Overclock or QuickClock Advanced to overclock.

Which one did you end up going with?

I actually received better performance with cm7 stock when compared to android overclock. I tried over clocking at 1.25. Anything above gave me force reboots. I haven't tried in about three weeks.

I used droidoverclock cause I had it already purchased. I tried doing the stock overclock but the highest settings I could find was 1000.

I use the ULV settings with stock clock Max clock speed. Anything 1.3 GHz or under is probably safe.

I use ulv 1.3 max and 1.0 min. Using droid overclock is pretty simple but the settings all depend on what you want. Performance or battery life?

Yes ulv is ultra low voltage. Well I'm not an expert at this so don't take my word on it but you can do both performance and battery I believe. I'm pretty sure the voltage portion is in reference to the battery. I have set to1.3 opposed to the1.35 because I had problems overclocking it that much in the past. I this helped a bit. But search the threads and I'm sure youcan actually find a guide to the app.

ULV is better for battery life and higher voltage is better for performance

But even if you have ultra low voltage set and have it at a high frequency shouldnt it still give you both good battery and good performance?
