Before I found this great forum I read that someone ruined their eris battery by charging it too much. I have a Droid:biggrin: and was wondering if you can do damage to the batttery if left on charger too long (ex.14 hrs). I know the battery and phone are suppose to communicate, but I also have a aftermarket 2600mah battery from seidio( which I highly recommend). Also I heard if you let it drain down to nothing you can also do damage. Any battery experts that can help out with the correct info, and how to properly maintaine them. Thanks:greendroid:

Draining to 0 is bad, you cannot over charge it with the provided charger.

If you use an incorrect charger you could put the wrong voltage/current and destroy the battery and phone.

this has been asked and answered many times. search before posting a new thread.

ya i am even using my old charger to my env 2... and it charges just fine.. and no matter how long i leave mine plugged in...as soon as it reaches 100 the charging stops completely and just sits in stand by mode.
