I don't know....but I do think it's funny that just a week ago or so people were like "Droid 2 and Droid X are NOT getting GB".....yet here we are....and I think it is CERTAIN that we will get it.....officially.

Yeh, Im just cautious to what's in the air, seems like a privacy issue against personal property, if u bought the phone, its urs. If you steal data, that's somethin else aye?

There is no reason to go back to stock. Verizon can't/won't do anything to you just for being rooted.

just wondering if OTA updates wipe the phone like the leaked versions. I tried out the rooted GB release but had to wipe phone to get to work inturn losing my apps/data. Does OTA updates do that too or just a override?

P3 Just tweeted that this is a newer build than the leaked one, updated bootloader, updated baseband and everything. So this means that if you take the OTA, you CAN NOT!!!! Flash back to Froyo, not with an updated bootloader, once you are updated, you are stuck there for some time.

You can only install this update from .340 official not deodexed

thx for posting that link...i just gave in this morning and reinstalled gbroot leak..i would have been so pissed if i had to turn right back around and sbf for the ota, not that its so difficult, wouldve been a pissr though, preciate the info
