OTA Update while on Rooted 2.1

If I perform the OTA update 2.2 will that kill my root and superuser rights?

Im sure there is an answer if I search forums, just answer the q or post the forum link.

I personally don't know, I would guess it might. If I were you, I'd take the Pre-OTA 2.2 image and flash that over 2.1 and then used Unrevoked 3 to reroot. Since I'm to guess you already have S-OFF, it should be safe to do so.

I took my DINC, downgrade to 2.1, rooted and S-OFF, then upgraded to Pre-OTA 2.2 and rerooted.
