OTA ICS instructions

OK, I've gotten enough questions to prompt me to make this thread. Some people have custom recoveries, frozen bloat etc and they're having issues getting the OTA. So here's the definitive guide to installing the OTA.

If you have CWM or AmonRa on leaked ICS:
**Note there's no guarantee this will work
Reload your RUU and check for updates

If you have CWM or AmonRa on Gingerbread:
Reload the stock RUU(Goo.im Downloads - Browsing ruu)

Alternate option for any of the above is to flash the 3.14.605.12 leak(which is the same version as the OTA)
Found here:[Exclusive Download] HTC Rezound Ice Cream Sandwich RUU For Final OTA (3.14.605.12)

Not sure how to flash an RUU: Read this: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/ht.../217825-how-flash-leaked-ruu-htc-rezound.html

If this helps anyone:

I was on ics leak 3.14.605.10 with root (SuperSU), stock hboot, and stock recovery.

I downloaded the ics 3.14.605.12 ruu zip file from android police, and installed it twice. It worked fine.
This was using the PH98IMG.zip method, not the OTA.

p.s. I am s-off so I didn't bother with locking the bootloader.
