open sd card

I just got my first Droid, and it's the Incredible. I cannot figure out how to open up the files on my SD card for the life of me. Hopefully someone can help me?

On a pc you have to mount it as a disk drive.

On phone you can use a file manager like Astro.

Do you want to access them or access them through your pc?
