Well,

I did it now... I accidently hit install now instead of install later on the OTA update.... well my phone shut down, then went into my recovery screen. Ok, I hit reboot, and the phone freezes up for over a hour. I then hold the power and up/down toggle until the recovery screen comes back up. Now whenever I try to restore from backup, it says fail, and I am no longer rooted??? It says to swipe to install root again. So I swipe, and it just shuts down, and returns to the recovery screen.

I am at a loss of what to do, and to make things worse, I am not really sure what version I was running anymore, as I have not changed a thing in about a year :blink:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the oops was trying to update while rooted.

use whatever parts of this guide you need to get you to or back to where you want to be.
