Our very own @DroidModderX covered all of the nagging deficiencies of the (just announced last night) OnePlus 2 smartphone. For those who have read his articles (here & here) and won't actually miss any of those missing features, here's a spec breakdown to give you the whole picture:
- 5.5-inch, LCD, 1080p
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 810
- 4GB RAM or 3GB LPDDR4 RAM
- 64 GB or 16GB Storage
- 13MP rear camera, 5MP front, 4K video recording
- 3,300 mAh Battery
- USB Type-C Connector
- OxygenOS on Android 5.1
- Fingerprint Sensor
- Aluminum-magnesium alloy frame with jewelry-grade stainless steel accents
- 720p slow-motion video recording
- LED notification light
- Alert slider
- Dual nano SIM cards
Technically there are two different models of the device. The 64GB version will include 4GB of RAM, and is coming to the US and Europe on August 11 for $389 (available with invite only). whereas the 16GB model with 3GB of RAM will show up later for $329.
What do you guys think? is this really a "flagship killer"? It at least seems like a decent successor to the first gen device.
