On Droid X what are the 2 faint things I see above the word MOTOROLA on the left?

The little black thing next to where you put your ear on the left. It looks like one is a camera but I know there is no front camera... what are those 2 things? Is one a light sensor or something? The one left-most is a circle and to the right of that is a square thing. Really curious and don't know how to find out besides here..

exactly..

one is a light sensor and the other is a proximity sensor....
