Old style slide menu on Droid X?

This might be a stupid question but is it possible to run the old style sliding app menu on the Droid X (even if I need to root and flash)?

I think he's talking about the grey tab at the bottom center of the screen that you could grab and slide up to reveal the app drawer. Like pure stock android.

it wont happen unless you can find a home replacement that still uses this style. which i think there is one out there like this i think. let me look for ya.

Edit: Open Home has this style. not what it used to look like, but it has no icons at the bottome only a tab you drag up with all your apps in it.

You are correct. The classic launcher is what I am after. Working on one of my coworkers Eclair based devices with both swipe notification and launcher just feels better for some reason.
 
Open Home is basically what I am looking for but It does not let me use any of the widgets I have installed.... is that normal for home switches?
