Og droid is insanely durable

So my father had the og droid. He spilled stuff on it, droped it in mottor oil, threw it, droped it, and after a while slamed it against the wall ( because the digitizer wore out XD) . Anyways the d1 and the d2 phone battery are the same so I pluged the d1 in to charge and it booted! After over a year of being throw, droped, and much more abuse including being dropped off a motorcycle at 30mph it still freaking booted! The screen is demolished but still I have some mad respect for the og droids amazing durability. Thanks moto, and android for this amazing phone.

I agree. The OG Droid is one tough device. Mine has been through bumps, bangs, drops, scratched, smashed, rain, dust, dirt, drinks, food, heat, cold... Yeah, its tough alright.

x3. The OG Droid is a beast. I've had it since January 2010 and it's been dropped more times than I can count. Still works perfectly.

I hope whatever I upgrade to (likely the Droid 4) has similar build quality.

Yup, the thing was built like crazy. Miss that kind of build quality.

This the only phone that has ever lasted me more that 1 yr (2 for this fellow)...
2 yrs no cracks bumps or bruises still running on all cylinders ....

posted tomorrow using the space time continuum app on my D1...

Ill make a video. Like I said you can't see the screen thou.
