*Official Trapster Thread*

I would personally find reporting and logging of which intersections have the fixed red light cameras to be more beneficial, not that I am a red light runner but would be nice to know which intersections not to cut it close.

Thanks

Yes, being alerted of red light cameras is a must. You can filter Trapster's traps to alert you only of specific trap types... so if you just want to be alerted of red light cams, you can customize this in your settings.

Thanks for the feedback!

downloaded. i have been pulled over more times than i have had birthdays.. fortunately, i'm really good at (sneaky) getting out of tickets, so i've only had ten.

i know... hopefully this will help.

I have it, I use it, I love it! thanks!
It had a marker on every red light camera, potential speed trap that I am aware of in my area. It is certainly something I use when going into unknown areas.
Thanks, Paul

lol. awesome.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Very cool but the pinch zoom on maps doesnt work with it. It would be nice if it was integrated somehow with the other info I need.

Not bad.

What this app really needs is the ability to add it as a layer within the Google Navigation software.

It could make a beep when you come up on a known speed trap. Perfect for roadtrips and interstate driving.

I would buy that.

THIS again.

i so VERY much agree.. just don't know if it's possible...?

I like the idea of this app... To be honest, I really need to play around with it more to make final judgement. But, I didn't like that most of the alerts were weeks old. If its a known speed trap area or red light camera thats fine. Is there a way to filter events older than one day or maybe even a few hours? I don't want to go thru 12 alerts to find that none of them are valid. Again though, this will be a great app with a few tweeks and will get better and better as the user base grows.

Quick way to report traps

I'd love a function to allow FAST reporting of speed-traps. As is by the time I've dug through the menu to find the reporting button (and confirmed it) I'm a mile past the trap. This is particularly problematic when I'm trying to drive as well. I'd like a single, simple on-screen button to allow trap reporting.

+1 on integration with Google Nav.

Final thing, it sometimes loses me and stops reporting traps while running in the background - I do this a lot to keep Nav at the front. This issue alone has basically led me to stop using Trapster.

Question: Is this the same app that was available on Blackberry? I had one similar to that and It was pretty much on the money where the police were at however sometimes you could accidentally "report" a trap by clicking the screen. These screens require only a touch.
