Off Topic News of the Day: Couple Disappears Into Freak Sinkhole in South Korea

Here's a bit of Off Topic news to get you wondering today.

Anytime you are having a bad day, just think about this video and be grateful you aren't having the same day these folks are having. In South Korea, a freak sinkhole opened up under a couple just as they were stepping off a bus. The video from the bus captured the whole event on camera.

Just watching this reminds me of the infamous "It's a trap!" line from Admiral Akbar in Star Wars. The good news is that the couple was rescued after falling into the 10 foot deep pit which sprang to life beneath them. Neither of them sustained serious injuries.

Wow, pavers over soil, looks like the edge tension between the pavers was the only thing that kept the walk from caving in on itself.
