If you plan to root or hack your Samsung Galaxy S5 you will need to be sure you have a stock Odin file for recovering your device in case of an emergency. There is no Root available for the Galaxy S5. One developer that I spoke to said that he would not even be trying to root this device because Samsung has it locked down so incredibly tight. That being said Root is being worked on and will come eventually. You will want to be sure that you do have a safety net and that you do have the stock Odin Image downloaded.
