Hello,

I am new to the droid forums and new to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, but im hoping everyone can help me out here. After two years of using my old smartphone i got used to when i got an e-mail or any message of any kind my phone would light up. This made it easy when my phone needs to be on silent but still lets me know i got a message. With the galaxy i noticed the notification light comes on but the screen never lights up, is there a way to change this using the default apps on the phone?

No by default there is no way to do this. You would need an app or perhaps multiple to achieve this.

Ok, I kind of figured that and ended up reinstalling Go SMS to solve this issue, thanks for your help.
