notifications

so this applies to facebook and droidforum apps.

i have notification on but never ever see one. no blinking light, no status bar notifier even wen the apps are in the background ....

what is the story with this?

FB only send me emails under certain conditions.
The only notification I see is that email.
What are your settings?

i am referring to the app setting. i get emails for what i want to be notified but only get status bar notifications when i open the app. at that point i dont care about the notifications.

with the droidforum app i never got a notification ever.
