I'm used to keyboards w/ , . ? ! & in the same buttons as the letters. Just long press a letter to get a ! or ? or & etc.
Anyone use another keyboard?
I'm tired of hitting the: ?123 button.

Downloaded SwiftKey 3. Wow, the best!
This is a must have for all cell phones & tablets.

Swift Key has a slide type function currently in beta. It's gonna be sweet!
They call it flow.

This was my biggest complaint with ICS. I use SwiftKey now and love it. Not quite as accurate as the stock keyboards (at least not my DI2 and Eris) but definitely better than the stock ICS keyboard on the Maxx HD.

SwiftKey with flow is out of beta. It's available in play store. I think it's on sale now for half price. I think also there is a trial version.

I'm wondering how many people got the "Swype" keyboard uploaded on their phones. I think it was installed during a system update a while ago.

The swype keboard seems to be a little more refined than the standard android keyboard and is able to perform the functions the poster was looking for in the first post of this thread.

His only complaint was not being able to get to the comma and other punctuation without selecting the numbers key.

And I told him how to pull up all the punctuation symbols without having to change to the numbers keyboard.

Just long push the period . and a blue box filled with all the other punctuation marks will pop up, and then just slide to the one you need.
