Even with root access you cant remove bloatware with super user. Just install 2.2 now that you are rooted it has not bloatware.

The 2.2 leak DOES have bloat... personally, when i am rooted i use supermanager (free from market) to mess around with system app files. Suggestion... rename, dont delete bloat, you may need it later for future ota's

Sent from my stock 2.1 unrooted, fully bloated (for now)
Fascinate

Like Rafael said. You dont really do anything with superuser. You use an app like supermanager or root explore, when rooted you can give those apps "permission" to modify system files.
