Non-verizon access to mobile hotspots.

Hello. Sorry if this isn't the right forum to ask, but I'm not sure where is best...

I have a droid LG Revolution. I use the pda net app for mobile access, and I'm very fond of it. I do not want to use access to verizon's network through their $7000.00 a month plan. PDA net does the trick.

Here is my question. Can I use one of the samsung hotspot SCH-LC11 hotspot devices without going through verizon? Ant help would be appreciated. I'd like to go phone -> hotspot, then access the hotspot with my ipad.

gregkel, yes you do need your device attacthed to a verizon wireless asstcou to ensure your able to use the devidce normally and with Hot-Spot. Here is a link below to our 3G and 4G data pricing.
