Non-Activated Phone

I still have the original droid, as a "back up" in case something happened to my Bionic. Is it ok to use WI-FI on it even if it doesn't have service?

Yup, I use mine as a media device around the house.

No problems i use mine all time for kids to play with. Keeps them off activated ones and tablets. I root them and remove the ability to make a phone call.
