No Gps

I am rooted 2.2 Froyo and I can't get a gps signal. Keeps saying no network. Can someone please help.

Here are a few things to check:
First, sure sure that your location settings are enabled (wireless and GPS)
Second, make sure you are in an open area and that something is not blocking your signal.
Finally, make sure that the rom you installed has included the Google maps.
