So, all of a sudden I am not rooted anymore. The root checker says I have root access but all my other apps are saying I don't. Tried to re root but no luck. Please help.

Well, you didn't specify the version of the firmware you're using, and the errors you got when you tried to re-root if it's 4.5.x.

Give this post a look. Just re-run z4 or your root tool. Should patch stuff up.

What happened before "all of a sudden"? Did you get an update of the OS? And, as G.Y. asks, what errors did you get when you tried to reroot, and what are you using to do so? Z4 works only on Froyo, for GB you need something like Pete's One Click Root.

But we need to know the error message to tell if you phone is in a strange state.
