Tomorrow, September 29th at 11AM CT/ 12PM ET / 9AM PT is Google's big 2015 Android & Nexus announcement. A slew of new products are being announced from across multiple lines, and we are very excited by what Google is bringing to the tablet this year. Here's a breakdown of what we can expect from tomorrow's event.

  • Android 6.0 Marshmallow - Of course, Google's next Android OS will take center stage, since it's time for the new thing to come out. For the most part, it seems like Marshmallow is simply a refinement over Lollipop, although that doesn't mean we won't see a slew of new features.
  • Nexus 5X by LG - The next generation Nexus 5 is coming from LG once again, and that's not surprising. They did a phenomenal job with the first Nexus 5. Their new Nexus 5X may not have the most powerful internal hardware available right now, but it is still a flagship worthy product and should be incredibly efficient with battery life and performance. We will just have to get it in our hands to see if it can live up to the reputation of its ancestor the current Nexus 5.
  • Nexus 6P by Huawei - The new Nexus 6 is coming from a different OEM than Motorola this time. Google chose to give Chinese smartphone maker, Huawei a chance this time. The specs on the phone seem solid, including a new USB Type-C connector. We've even heard rumors the phone might have a microSD slot.
  • New Chromecast - Due to several leaks we know that a new Chromecast is on the horizon for tomorrow's big event. Rumors suggest it will include faster Wi-Fi and a new feature called "Fast Play." We are curious to see what else Google does with the next generation of their amazing little media dongle.
That's the gist of what we know for sure. Will there be any surprises from those crazy Googlers? We are hoping Google will announce that their new Nexus phones have built-in support for Project Fi. What are you hoping to see from the event?

How much better does everyone think the new phones will be compared to the N6.

I have to say I'm in hot love with mine. Not quite feeling the pull, which is odd for me, maybe tomorrow will change that.

I have no experience with the current N6 at all. I haven't even seen one in person. I'm interested in seeing what Huawei brings to the table as well. I can't say that I'd be as interested if I had the N6 though. My biggest issue is just the fact that I'm ready to leave Touchwiz and Samsung for another Nexus device. The last one I had was made by Sammy and didn't get a fair shake with updates. I won't be upgrading until after the first of the year, if then, so who knows how my tune may change between now and then, but I'm leaning toward the 6. I'm excited for tomorrow's event and can't wait to see what the camera bump is all about. I saw some leaked slides that looked like they were built for a presentation of the device and there was one dedicated to talking up the camera, so I'm hoping they'll explain. Won't change my mind either way. I loved my Droid X for the time I had it and had no problem with that bump. This doesn't appear to be much different of a scenario.

I loved my Nexus 6, but wish it had a couple features like the fingerprint reader I have on my new Note 5. That being said, having pure Android was a great experience. I think the new Nexus 6 will be a great phone assuming the hardware is on par with last years model.

I however have been loving my Note 5 more than I thought I would. Package Disabler Pro and the Google Now launcher really helps too.

If they have a 128GB option, I'm probably going to buy.
I like the look. If not then it's a Moto X Pure.
I'm waiting to see what tomorrow has in store.

Last Nexus device I owned was the Galaxy Nexus  so it might be time for another. :D

Same here, I opted for the LG G2 when I upgraded from the Nexus since the N5 wasn't being released on Verizon. Next month will make 2 years I've had the G2 and though I've had 0 issues out of it and the battery still lasts a good 1.5-2 days. I think I'm going to upgrade to the 5X.

I'm just excited it's finally about time. I've been waiting all year for this to decide on my replacement and about pulled the trigger a couple times but held out. Yay for tomorrow.

Idk if I'm even gonna get to watch the stream live. That's during my lunch time and I'd much rather run home for lunch as I usually do...Decisions, decisions...Haha

I'll be flying home unfortunately, so I'll likely miss it.
