Nexus now pixel

Pixel is their Chromebook though. Way to fragment your devices Google.

With Chromebooks running Android apps they are actually closing the gap....a little.

"I have a pixel. Of yeah how do you like the keyboard? Its my phone. Ohh.". Facepalm

Their renaming and naming conventions are strange.

Right, should have kept the Nexus the phones and tablet/Chromebook line the pixel.

I agree. The move is weird to me. I can kinda see changing things up, but I don't like the decision to lump it in with the other devices as names.

Also, Nexus sounds more tough to me than Pixel. Try saying Pixel like a bada**. Can't be done.

Pixel. Done like a badass. Haha

I can see the conversations. It's already bad when people see Nexus and ask what it is.

Them:What kind of phone is that?
Me:Pixel.
Them: A What?
Me: the Google pixel?
Them: Google What?
Me: *shakes hand in air*

Not to mention that, with the 5p and the 5x, they finally had commercials that played on TV and online for the devices using the name Nexus. You're finally doing something to bring more name recognition to the line, just to change the name the next year!?

Come on Big G!

So how many of you going to buy the dbrand skin with "pixel" on the back?

"Your mama named you Nexus, I'ma call you Nexus".

When asked the phone I have I'm calling it a Nexus regardless if Google calls it a pixel.

And give your phone a complex. It was named Pixel not Nexus. You'll have it in therapy for years.
Eh it won't be around that long lol. We love it then leave it in 12-18 months.

We already forgot the name of that one phone made by Motorola and Google. Sham.... something

An idea I've seen tossed around was the Nexus 6P(ixel) was too much a coincidence. Like they had this planned

Tapped from a Nexus 6
