Owners of the Google/Motorola Nexus 6 on T-Mobile will be getting a happy surprise starting today. It looks like the latest version of Android Lollipop 5.1 is pushing out to that device. This is build LMY47M, and is a hefty 409MB in size, so you will probably want to update over WiFi. As a refresher, this is what this update brings to the table:
  • small tweaks to Lollipop
  • new “anti-theft” security features that prevent unauthorized use after a factory reset
  • new quick toggles and animations
  • several bug fixes
  • VoLTE (WiFi calling is expected in a later update)
Sound off if/when you get this update and let us know what you think, and don't forget to check head over to our dedicated Nexus 6 section here: Nexus 6 Android Forum at DroidForums.net

I just used the Google factory images to update mine last week. Once wifi calling comes, I'll probably use the TMobile update.

WiFi calling comes in real handy. I'm glad it came out of the box on my Z3.
