The next update for Droid is on January 22 and its going to be android 2.1(flan) don't know if its goings to be pushed via ota doe

you mean 2.0.1 or 2.1.0?
Apparently there will be another update in January's but indications are it will be 2.10. And the date its suppose to come out escapes me but its not the 11th.
I know you are new to this forum. I'm new too but I've been around smart phones for a while. Just a piece of advice: Never believe anything a Verizon Rep tells you. Chances are we know more then they do.

well in my case its true i work for them so i was wondering where he got that date considering i never heard anything definitive

Wow, never have I been so disrespected for simply making a comment. Where do you guys get off thinking you know everything there is to know. The Jan. 22nd 2.1 update is also rumor so it could be possible that YOU guys are wrong. I didn't realize this forum was filled with know it all pricks.

I understand that. I wasn't saying that mine was the end all be all truth not to mention that maybe both rumors are correct(not that I believe that), but I have to say that the responses from people to my COMMENT were unacceptable. Thank you for responding quickly, at least there are some reasonable people here.
FYI that says *projected* and was written almost a month ago. Couldn't it stand to reason that they fixed it a little quickly and bumped that up 11 days? I personally think so, but then again what do I know apparently I'm a fool!
