I wanted to root my note 2 now that the vzw warranty is up, nobody has posted any new stuff on the note 2 forum in awhile. Thanks

This one will work and root the phone....[ROOT] Saferoot: Root for VRUEMJ7, MK2, and Android 4.3 - xda-developers
unfortunately there is no unlock boot loader for this version ...so you won't be able to run custom ROMS ...but you can root and use mods like Xposed..
