Newegg cell phones

Hi all. I currently have a droid 1 and due for an upgrade october 12th. I was wondering if anyone have bought a smartphone from newegg.com with verizon service. Do I have to contact Verizon in order to make sure I will granfather unlimited data?

I have unlimited 3g data right now. As I've heard before you are automatically granfathered into unlimited data plan if u upgrade to a smartphone that qualifies for an old $29.99 plan. I was just wondering if anyone upgraded the phone threw newegg.com. They have bionic going for $219.99 with a two year upgrade.

Check it out but phone warranty's are stating they are only good through authorized dealers and i was told newegg is not an authorized dealer so the phone manufaturer wouldnt honor the warrenty. i dont know if this is true but i saw it at xda so something for you to check out.
also make sure to look very good on phones that have prices that seem very good. many times in small hidden writing it is a refurbished phone.
I have seen many poss regarding not being able to keep your unlimited data from buying from non verizon stores so make sure to check it out .
since your up on oct 12 hopefully well hear about the prime with samsung/google announcement.

unfortunately i cant give u a definate answer other than check with vzw. hopefully someone who actually bought from newegg can give u some insight
