Steve here using the droid X, and love it. Live in southern cal. I am looking for a way to reset stored passwords on the droid. I have a username that is stored incorrectly, and want to reset it.

Welcome! Glad you joined us. I'm not sure how to help you. Are you saying that you Google username is incorrect or is it the username on another email account?

password reset

No the password (Username really) is for another website (modelmayhem). whats stored on the phone has an extra space stored in it, and I have to edit it every time I log on the site. I have read some things about clearing cache, but not found anything directly related to this problem. Clearing cache requires an additional app?
does it clear all the usernames and passwords?

I'm not positive but I do not think clearing cache will remove a password. You can safely clear cache with a cache cleaner app. I'm not sure if you need to be rooted but that should not be a requirement.

GO to the site, and backspace all of the area for userid and password then reenter.
