well what type of customizing r u wanting to do? if ur not into changing ROMS then def root may not be needed. depends what u wanna do

i would like to change the notification bars color to black

or if ur talking notification LED colors then maybe an app called Blink

:welcome: to the forum. As far as I know, you need to be rooted to change the notification bar. Or get a home launcher that can hide it.

Welcome to the forums really like the name as well and in order to change things like the notification bar you're going to need to root your phone

Okay i have another question What kind of weather/clock app do y'all use? I would like to put one on my main screen but can't find a good one.
