newbie with droidX2 and voicemail confusion

Everytime I try to open up voicemail, it prompts me to enter a password, but I have no password because this is the fist time. Where are the prompts to create a password for voicemail?:icon_question:

welcome to the forum. there is a default number which i cant remember what it is. 0000? 12345? either that or call vzw to ask what the default is
