The droid locator pro seems simple and has good reviews yet doesn't work when I try. It does not recognize a change in secret codes. Any tips or should I try another one.

First of all, welcome to the forum, Howdywood! I'm not familiar with that particular app. I use Mobile Defense and Where's My Droid. Both are good solid apps and free in the Market, but if I had to choose I'd go with Mobile Defense. You can download the app, signup for a free account on their website, and locate, lock and wipe your phone if necessary. Check it out!
