I am way new to the forum but recently used it to root my OG Droid and help flash the current Cyanogenmod7.

You know it. I am really fortunate that all of these developers are extending the life of the OG, makes the wait for the new phones a bit easier.

Absolutely. I was the typical person who got the OG right as it first came out and it was mad slow and was basically holding me back to the point where I strongly considered a refurbed 3Gs.

This has literally saved me money and allowed me to get my beloved phone back!
