MessageEase Keyboard - how about a port to the droid?
I used the keyboard from the link below on my old WinMo phone, in portrait mode when the keyboard has to be small it was excellent, in a few days I got faster and more accurate than on the QWERTY layouts. It took some getting used to, its very different, but by using swipes instead of taps for many characters the chances for typos was greatly reduced because the starting area for any gesture was very large. It looks like it would be too big a learning curve, but the most frequently used letters are just taps on the 9 large squares. I guess this post is no help to us Android users since this keyboard is not out for the Droid. But I'm going to email them and ask about it, if enough interested parties do that maybe they'll bite!
