How do I delete a free app that I downloaded?

Go to Settings - Applications - Manage Applications; There is a tab that says Downloaded at the top (make sure that is highlighted). To delete an app all you have to do is click on it and when it opens there will be an option to Uninstall

You can also transfer apps to your SD card from the same options if you have the ability on your phone.
