New update coming

If I am reading this right, it looks like an update is starting to roll out. Should expect something soon. Some other Razr's are getting it already.

Why did you list this in the RAZR M section? The update is for the RAZR and RAZR Maxx.

My M no longer has a sleep option, which I used every night to conserve battery power. I used to be able to shut it off and recharge it quickly, but now it automatically comes on any time it's plugged in.

I also can no longer use the USB to connect my phone and copy files. I believe it's all to force you to use more data.

Ok, I've been hitting the Install Later option for a month now. Accidentally hit the Install Now button in the night. I don't like the update. Can it be reversed? If not, what options remain other than using the new version.....which I did not want to do.

Anyone else experiencing lockups since update? My Razr goes blank, cannot unlock it unless I hold in on button for a minute and then hit it again, and phone goes back on, but when it locks up, the only thing showing is the bottom indicators which are lite normally, but none respond? Thanks,

You may need to do a factory data reset. Or at least clean the cache. I've heard that a lot of times, you need to do the FDR after an update. Hopefully one of these fixes your problem. I cleaned my cache, and I'm running fine. And for the OP, you cannot reverse the update unless you're rooted. That's been the word at least.

I did FDR and cleared cache. I can't take a video without the phone freezing for 5 minutes and then rebooting. This phone has never been slower. And the data drops constantly. I have to reboot 5 to 10 times a day

You should take that thing back to the Verizon store. They should be able to help you or give you a new unit.

I have. I've been through 3 phones in 2 years. Paid 200 for rezound then was forced into (the m) which was free. Did I get my 200 back? Of course not. I tried to get them o let me get a new phone at subsidized price but they didn't give a ****.
