Cool. Thanks!! i just figured out what i did. i set mine to pattern lock which didn't change w/ the update. this is the standard unlock screen w/o the pattern.

I love it, personally the wheel didn't really go with the droid's rough cut appearance

But everyone is different.

I have a new theory that the new unlock is meant to make unlocking when using the keyboard/landscape mode easier.

I don't understand what the big deal is. I've read some other threads about people being mad about the new unlock screen....It's just a damn unlock screen...It's not an "Issue" like have the browser being choppy for some people. On to the next one...

i like the new unlock better. i found that when unlocking in rotary to answer a call, i'd sometimes hit the ''end call'' button. yeah, my fingers are clumsy sometimes

the unlock screen is far superior, IMHO
it's so much easier to unlock the screen
less than half-the movement of my finger is necessary to answer a call

I like it but i dont like the heptic feedback. I dont see why they dont just give you a choice. I guess you could always go with a lock screen and just make it super easy. strait across or check mark, something like that.

you can turn HAPTIC FEEDBACK off in one of the menus.....
but, maybe you like it for everything else BUT the welcome screen
