I am a converted Blackberry user and though I thoroughly enjoyed it, this android is absolutely awesome.

Hey thanks!
So far I can't believe this thing! It is truely incredible!
I would like to learn more about rooting it though.
What would you recommend and once rooted, is the battery life better or the same?

Well rooting on its own will not change the battery life but after you do root you can do stuff to help your bettery life, like underclocking the cpu. Check out the droid incredible hacks section.

There are two versions of the Incredible, so make sure you use the right method to root it.
