New to droid fourms and need help

Hi im new to DROID forums and sort or a newbie. So all you experts take it easy on my lol im trying to learn. I just recently purchased a DROIDX running 2.3.3 and need help rooting it. Tried everything and it seems like the programs don't work. I paid for bootstrap and it don't even work. Need help please and thank you

welcome to the forum, are u using the correct file for GB? i believe bootstrap wont work. head over to the DX section where u can find better info
