New @ this... Feeling a little lost. New voice mails are not showing up in the notification bar. Any ideas on how to fix it?
Is there an intro for this site?

I have no idea why you aren't getting notified about voicemail. Try the search its decent and might help answer your question before we do. I have no other info on that. I sure its fixable and might be user error.

Welcome and I think that is your intro. Check your VM settings and make sure all possible nots are on and work backwards. IDK, it's a thought.

Just out of curiosity:

Did you try restarting the phone?

Are you using Google Voice?

Are you rooted?

You didn't by chance change a voicemail setting when you are were playing around?

Just trying to get a little more information.

Welcome to the forum, roco231! We're glad that you've decided to join us! Go to Menu > Settings > Sound & display and touch the Notification ringtone and see if by chance yours is on Silent. (It's the first choice at the top of the list). If it is make another selection for an actual sound and see if that helps resolve the problems. Also check to be sure that Silent mode is not checked. It's the first choice on the Sound & display screen. Also, a reboot is never a bad idea. Let us know what happens! Hope you enjoy your time here!

Thanks ya'll. Tried all that. Actually-- the phone's my husband's & i have no idea what he did. Just every time he gets into trouble he wants me to bale him out.
