New out of the box dog resets with screen off.

Just like the title says- pulled it out of the box and am having the thing reboot every time the screen turns off. This includes shutting it off manually and when it to my face to make a call. Sbf'd and updated to verizons newest ota update and its still the same. Anything I can do or am I sending this back to be replaced?
