I run 2-3 businesses, live out in the wilderness and only had Tethering for internet access (satellite just too slow). Now, I'm stuck. I saw the posts back in March. Has anyone made any progress on finding a solution. PDAnet didn't used to work well enough. We are unlimited users and would like to keep it that way. Any fresh ideas?

We have Android Bionics. We tried pdanet a year ago...it was inconsistent...I guess maybe it's better now?
Downloading now and will let you know how it goes!

Foxfi and pdanet are one now, you can download and use, but the free version has a time limit, when time runs out you have to restart, the paid version has no time limit, I use it and haven't had any issues.

Both PdaNet and Foxfi work with the jb update on my Bionic. Just need to use the lockscreen, or disable then re- enable the lockscreen to use. Don't care for using a lockscreen myself, as I'm the only one that uses my device, however, its only a small nuisance.

We got it working great! Needed to do the Foxfi with the pdanet versus pdanet alone, but it works great and connects much faster than using the tethering from Verizon. We use a booster and had a lightening strike last fall and, after replacing the booster, we were never sure if our delays in connecting were problems with tethering or the booster....but things are working much better now. Glad we switched.... Thank you for all the help and making us feel welcome!

Welcome to the site. Glad to read that your problem has been solved. DancingNexus
