Hello, I just purchased a Droid X after many many years as a Blackberry User. This phone is the first one that I purchased and I like from the time I activated it.

I have one problem and I hope someone in this forum can help. I saved all of my ringtones, pictures and music on my PC. Then I tried to drag and drop them into my plugged in Droid X but I keep getting an error message.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.dancedroid

:welcome: glad you found us! be sure to check out the Droid Discussions section for all things Droid related, and then head over to our separate section devoted entirely to the DX. tons of info, and plenty of people willing to help out.

as for your specific question, did you "mount" your X to your PC with the USB cable? just connecting isn't enuf - you have to make the "mount" selection in order to get the pc to recognize the sdcard (and you have to have a formatted sdcard in the phone).

jump in, get involved, don't hesitate to ask questions, and enjoy the ride! :)

Connecting my Droid to my computer

Maybe I'm not as computer savvy as I thought. How do I "Mount" my Droid X to my computer?
