I'M NEW HERE. I just got the update and where's my additional homescreens,and where do I get a decent media player???

If you have the stock 2.1 you only have three screens. Check AndroLib, Find all applications and games available in the Android Market for your Android Phone, HTC Dream, HTC Magic etc... for music players. I REALLY like bTunes.

That is all of the screens that the stock ROM offers. You can add Helix (my favorite) and use it as a launcher. It will allow you up to seven screens.
