New guy with a Droid 1, just rooted!!

Hey everybody what's up? I have been lurking/learning here for quite a while. I figured it was time to root the phone, get out of the shadows and join the rank and file. I loaded up CM7 and still playing around with it. I need to to tweak it a bit because I am still having some lag issues, but hope to get that remedied soon. See you guys around.

Welcome to DF. You missed the heyday of the OG Droid by about a year but theres still some good roms coming out. Check out SS 5.5. Its based off of CM7 but with tweaks by Chevy No1 whos been developing for the D1 since it came out.

Thanks. I actually got mine a year ago, just never did much with it. I had to wait till my Sprint contract was up. I can't wait to see what will be available next year!
